Helping Non-Profits in Their Time of Need

We provide emergency funding to local charities that don't have the support of state or federal parent organizations so they can continue to serve their community.

If you want to make a meaningful impact with your donation, knowing that it will go directly to the charity and not be used for administrative costs, then you have come to the right place.

Trying To Do It Yourself

Empowering Communities Through Compassionate Support

With a legacy stretching over five decades, we've dedicated ourselves to empowering local non-profits facing unforeseen challenges, ensuring they continue to thrive even in times of hardship. Our approach is simple—providing emergency funding to vital community pillars, from ensuring the shelves of food banks remain stocked to replacing essential equipment for educational and support programs. We believe in the power of small contributions to create significant impacts, guiding individuals and businesses alike through a seamless journey of giving. Our intimate knowledge of the community and its champions sets us apart.

We invite you to join us in a commitment not just to donate, but to truly connect with and uplift the heart of Central Florida.

We have built relationships all over Central Florida for the past 45 years with non-profits. We personally know who is running them and if they are truly in tune with the community. Every one that works with our foundation is a volunteer—there is no paid staff or salaries being paid to anyone.

About Us

Lori and Cathy have always worked with non-profits and made donations over the past years as part of the J Meyers Insurance Agency. They noticed that so many of them had emergency expenditures that were not part of their budget and really put them in a bind. So, they decided to start their own foundation that could raise more funds to help these non-profits during these times so the non-profits could continue their work and not stress when emergencies arrive. A refrigerator stops working, a printer breaks, a food pantry is empty, any multitude of things that can break a thinly stretched budget. We've got you covered.

Testimonials

Hear From Those We've Helped

“When our class of 90 unaccompanied minors were hit with their first North American winter, they were ill-prepared. The J Meyers Sisters Foundation made sure every one of those kids, aged 13 to 17, received a comfy hoodie to keep them warm! In addition to supporting us with direct donations, like back-to-school backpacks or Christmas toys, The J Meyers Sisters Foundation also extends our donor base by advocating for our organization with their own peers and colleagues, We are grateful to be recipients of The J Meyers Sisters Foundation's generosity.”

“The Class of 2023 at Island Coast High School and myself greatly appreciate the generous donation. We were able to provide our seniors with Caps and Gowns that were financially disadvantage due to your support. Your donation helped make it possible for our students cross the stage with their peers and gave their families the opportunity to participate a monumental milestone. Thank you again for your donation and helping with our Gator family.”
